🎯 Why Parents Stay Enrolled Year-Round

June and July are not “filler months.”

Students continue receiving:

  • 🎨 Structured art instruction
  • 💬 Teacher guidance and structure
  • 📚 Academic vocabulary development
  • 🖼️ Portfolio-building projects
  • 🧠 Creative thinking challenges
  • ✍️ Reflection and goal-setting activities
  • 🌟 Ongoing artistic growth

This ensures students maintain momentum, strengthen skills, and continue building a meaningful portfolio throughout the entire year rather than losing progress over the summer months.

This curriculum map serves as a developmental framework and pacing guide aligned with Florida Visual Arts Standards and the National Core Arts Standards. While the sequence is intentionally structured, teachers are encouraged to thoughtfully adapt lessons, pacing, materials, and project complexity to best support the unique needs, interests, readiness levels, and growth of their students. Effective art instruction meets learners where they are while fostering creativity, confidence, skill development, and meaningful artistic exploration.

🎨 Art Supplies List

To keep things simple and stress-free, Creative Path Institute uses a flexible, beginner-friendly supply system designed for real homes—not perfect studios.

Most materials are affordable, easy to find, and often already available at home.

Students are encouraged to use what they have and substitute when needed. Creativity comes from the process—not the price of supplies.

What to expect:
✔ A simple, streamlined list (no overwhelm)
✔ Multi-use materials across multiple lessons
✔ Budget-friendly options + easy substitutions
✔ Optional upgrades for students who want more

You do not need to purchase everything at once. Start with the basics and build over time as your student grows.

Our goal is to remove pressure and make it easy to begin—so students can focus on creating, exploring, and building real artistic skills.
